  • Luxembourg: Well-read English-language title Luxembourg Times launched a new look website this month.

  • Guernsey: The Guernsey branch of the Chamber of Commerce called for further investment into its finance industry to help it remain competitive.

  • Switzerland: In a national referendum, voters in Switzerland approved a move to adopt a minimum 15% corporate tax rate in a result that was described as 'an unusually strong endorsement'. Voters also backed a climate law that aims to cut fossil fuel use and reach zero emissions by 2050.

  • Jersey: The Government of Jersey appointed a new interim CEO this month. Andrew McLaughlin will be in post until May 2024, under a secondment agreement with his current employer NatWest.

  • Climate News: French public broadcaster 'France Televisions' has swapped traditional weather forecasts to introduce climate journalism into its agenda in a move that further propels climate change into mainstream consciousness.

  • AI Adoption: Fewer people are using ChatGPT than might be expected, according to a new survey by Morgan Stanley. It found that less than one fifth of business people have actually used ChatGPT, despite the noise around it.

  • Media: Established asset management title Funds Europe was bought up this month by Definite Article Media, which also publishes Corporate Adviser, amongst other titles.
