Leading Jersey-based PR agency, Crystal Public Relations, is recruiting.
Our ideal candidate would be a university graduate with at least 1- 2 years’ experience in a communications, marketing, journalism, digital or related role, and proven first class inter-personal and writing skills, who works hard as part of a team and can respond quickly and efficiently to the communication needs of market leading, globally-focussed clients.

In this role, your duties would include:
Manage day to day activity on an ongoing basis on behalf of clients to ensure that their PR needs are met efficiently and on a consistent basis.
Liaise as necessary with third parties to progress work, develop strategies and action plans for clients for approval by the Directors.
Attend regular client meetings, prepare agendas, write reports of meetings and undertake activity based on client requirements. Take instructions from clients and action directly.
Take responsibility for maintaining accuracy and a consistent level of quality work, hallmarks of the agency.
Develop and nurture strong links with all media in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, trade journalists in London and in other key locations as directed.
Develop and nurture links with a range of new relevant media in London and overseas.
Take briefings from clients and draft and distribute press releases and articles.
Provide writing skills for any client communication as directed including brochures, newsletters, online and social media content.
Handle media enquiries on behalf of clients and in consultation with the Directors, recommend and assist with responses.
Arrange and attend press briefings.
Arrange photography and attend media photos.
Help to manage events when required by clients.
Analyse communication issues and developments strategically and draft papers and notes in conjunction with the Directors.
Take a proactive approach to the social media requirements of the agency, recommending ideas and supporting the work of the agency team to maximise social media engagement.
Read designated media and help with identifying, collating and evaluating coverage.
Research online and in other resources for new media opportunities relevant to our clients.
Attend pitches and presentations on behalf of the agency.
Act as an ambassador for the agency in the business environment and monitor for new business opportunities on behalf of the agency.
