We’ve moved at pace into 2026, but the team at Crystal PR has been reflecting on 2025, a year that provided challenges but also opportunity to diversify and evolve.
Over the course of 2025, the team has:
- handled almost 240 announcements, statements and comments on behalf of clients – almost 20 on average each month!
- managed more than 140 pieces of long-form content, including blogs, speeches, articles and white papers – nearly 12 on average very single month!
- generated coverage in markets beyond the Channel Islands and IoM, including:
- Caribbean
- Hong Kong
- Luxembourg
- Netherlands
- Singapore
- Switzerland
- UAE
- UK
- US

In particular, the team has supported communications support around a number of key initiatives and projects, including a multi million £ philanthropic marine conservation project, major changes to Jersey’s funds regulatory framework and the 20th anniversary of the Jersey Marathon.
We’ve also seen our service lines evolve, inputting increasingly into sustainable finance and digital communications strategies, developing podcast, video and event scripts, investor relations work focused around cross-border M&A, and internal and crisis communications planning.

Reflecting on the year, Adam Riddell, Managing Client Director, said:
“It’s been a busy start to 2026 – but we’ve had time to reflect in the early part of the year on the ways in which Crystal has helped shape and support our clients’ communications strategies over the past year too. Of course, it was a sad year for us, with the passing of our Founder Mike, but his incredible work ethic and commitment to PR excellence continued to shine on through the depth and range of the team’s ongoing work.
“There’s no doubt that the shift to digital strategies, integration of AI tools, and an increasingly fragmented media landscape have all shaped and diversified our work – but what we have seen is a sustained need for human-led critical thinking that is able to shape strategies, provide useful insights and apply experience in areas from local community issues through to complex and technical financial and legal developments, across multiple locations.
“As we look forward, international financial services firms will be operating in a communications environment in 2026 that will be defined by regulatory complexity, technological change, and stakeholder scrutiny. The challenge is to build sustained trust across jurisdictions, cultures, and channels, while responding to fast-moving political, economic and reputational risks. I’m really pleased that the experience and capability we have at Crystal is well placed to deliver on that.”
